Watch the EDC Experience at home!
Beginning Friday, November 11, 2011, the EDC Experience film will be available on Video on Demand from the cable outlets listed below! The EDC feature film focuses on the positive minded culture and wonder of the Electric Daisy Carnival, with most of it’s footage from 2011’s EDC. The documentary also features the wide variety of artists from the many avenues of the Electronic Music spectrum. The artists/DJs in alphabetical order: 12th Planet, Above & Beyond, Afrojack, A-Trak, Benny Benassi, Boys Noize, David Guetta, Deadmau5, Fedde Le Grand, Kaskade, Laidback Luke, Lil Jon, Moby, MSTRKFRT, Simian Mobile Disco, Steve Aoki, Swedish House Mafia, Travis Barker, Will.I.Am, With a special tribute to DJ AM, Featuring additional songs by Black Eyed Peas, The Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Alex Gaudino, Kid Cudi, N*E*R*D, Nero, Underworld, and many more. 27th Annual IDMA ballot launches November 2011
The only longstanding awards event dedicated to the dance and electronic music industry, the IDMAs, generate over two million votes from music enthusiasts in 206 countries and territories every year to recognize and honor exceptional achievements in 57 award categories. Part of its mission statement is to serve as a platform for the advancement of the industry, the IDMAs place particular emphasis on innovative artists and industry. As music continues to evolve the IDMAs have emerged as an essential platform for career launching appearances. Admission is included with the WMC 2012 delegate badge. Last years winners include Duck Sauce’s track Barbra Streisand, Rihanna, Swedish House Mafia’s collaboration with Pharrell of N.E.R.D., Deadmau5, and Afrojack for best break through DJ.
