Apple announces the iPad Tablet
Will Serato make an app?
Apple announces its iPad today, and I’m sure many industries are already thinking of cool ways to use it. Being a DJ of course I am thinking this will finally get rid of the dull DJ staring at his laptop and not his crowd. Easier music browsing while throwing in a mix could be in the near future. There will be many DJ-friendly uses for the iPad and I am very excited to see that! Although I haven’t made the jump to serato myself… An easy touch interface, with “iTunes like” music browsing, with album artwork, might make me go that route. There are already people using their iPhones as controllers for Scratch. So it’s just a matter of time!
