Watch the EDC Experience at home!


Beginning Friday, November 11, 2011, the EDC Experience film will be available on Video on Demand from the cable outlets listed below! The EDC feature film focuses on the positive minded culture and wonder of the Electric Daisy Carnival, with most of it’s footage from 2011’s EDC. The documentary also features the wide variety of artists from the many avenues of the Electronic Music spectrum. HERE IT IS! Your first look at Daft Punk in full Tron gear.  The Tron hype is hitting a fever pitch and now we get the first video and look at Daft Punk rocking the decks in the Tron world!  TRON: Legacy, the long awaited sequel to the 1982 film TRON, which will be in theaters on December 17 in IMAX 3D and RealD 3D. Daft Punk has already made a surprise appearance to promote the film, as they showed up during the encore set with Phoenix in New York’s Madison Square Gardens.

Daft Punk made a surprise appearance joining Phoenix live on stage (October 20) at Madison Square Garden in New York. As Phoenix were playing ‘If I Ever Feel Better’ as part of their encore, Daft Punk showed up sending the crowd into a frenzy. Dropping their epic ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’ the encore turned into live collaboration as the band joined in. Daft Punk transitioned into ‘Around the World’ and then they joined in as the band closed off with ’1901′

This was Daft Punks first live performance in 3 years, as they have been busy working on the score and soundtrack for the new Tron Legacy movie.  Rumors that Daft Punk would be making special appearances to help promote the movie have been going around the net for some time now. Video posts from this surprise appearance have definitely started a big buzz with posts like “THEY’RE BACK! THEY’RE BACK! THEY’RE BACK!”

This December the French House DJ duo Daft Punk will be making their big screen debut in  Tron Legacy.   Not only are they creators of the sound track, but they will also be making a cameo during a club scene in the much anticipated movie. This image was released as part of Tron Tuesdays, which is a marketing effort by Disney that will give us snippets of information leading up to the release. Rumors are also going around that Daft Punk may be making surprise appearances in major US cities to help promote the movie. The soundtrack drops on December 7th with the movie releasing on December 17th.  Below is a sneak peak of “The Game Has Changed” from  the upcoming Tron Soundtrack.
