Martin Aquino is one half of The Corporate Scandals (a duo formed with Carlos Tino in 2008), Aquino branches out on his own for a pair of driving club tracks released on Joeski’s Aztec Tribalism label. The Stealth EP epitomizes Aquino’s New York-flavored house music sound with “Stealth,” a peak-time banger with a rolling bass line and hypnotic sampled vocal hook, and “Heavy Luggage,” a more tribal outing with techy stabs and a solid, deep groove. It’s a sterling effort that sounds right at home on Joeski’s label and establishes Martin Aquino as one to watch.

He was one of the pioneers of electronic disco and produced the timeless Donna Summer hit, “I Feel Love.” His work with synthesizers during the 70′s & 80′s had a significant influence on New Wave, House, Techno and Electronic music in general. “Disco Moroder” is an homage to Giorgio’s influence.
